Jeanette E. Laba
Education

Jeanette received her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Southern California School of Law in 2006. Prior to law school, Jeanette graduated cum laude from Boston University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy.

Bar Admissions

Jeanette is a member of the State Bar of California. She is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Practice Areas

For over a decade, Jeanette has devoted her practice exclusively to employment law. Jeanette has handled hundreds of employment matters, including disputes involving wrongful termination, workplace harassment, disability discrimination, pregnancy discrimination, gender discrimination, contract claims, trade secret issues, race and national origin discrimination, workplace retaliation, whistleblowers, and wage and hour violations. Jeanette litigates cases in state and federal court, and provides advice and counsel on a wide range of employment-related issues. Her experience includes single plaintiff, multi-plaintiff, class, and collective actions.

Jeanette has a particular interest in litigation under the California Fair Pay Act and closing the wage gap.
